Horizontal stripes are achieved by weaving simple rows and periodically changing colors. Vertical stripes are another way to add interest to your design by introducing new patterns with your color palette. Here's how to try it our in your weaving:
Simply weave a tabby stitch through in your first color.
In the next row weave tabby stitch in your second color.
As you alternate colors in subsequent rows be sure that you are weaving the sides of your work, as well.
Continue on until you create the look you desire.
